Why Lions?

History of lions:
In Farsi (Persian Language), all kinds of taps, valve are called “Shir (lion)”. Why? It is an interesting story. Long long ago in Iran, before people have the benefits of using pure water piped in their places, they used the water of wells, springs and rivers. The beginning of the story goes to a wealthy business man who had no children. He asked God for it, and when his wife finally gave birth to a baby, in return he made the first place for people to use healthy water in the main square of his town. As he had been to different European countries, he used this idea to let the water come out from a lion’s head. And after that people used to say “I’m going to bring water from lion”
